Project Managers

Would you like to work on projects encompassing both the technology delivery as well as the successful transition into the business area? We currently have vacancies for IT Project Managers at our site in Preston or Farnborough.

As an IT Project Manager you will be leading medium sized projects or delivering a work package as part of a larger programme of work. These could be across multiple customers, technologies and domains and will also require focus on the business change element to support business transition and transformation activities.

This role will provide you with an overall responsibility to deliver internal and external business and enterprise projects to cost, timescale, quality and customer satisfaction.

Your skills and qualifications:

Strong Project Management experience within the IT Services domain

Experience of leading enterprise-wide projects, incorporating successful business change delivery, to meet strategic business objectives

Experience of managing supply chains to achieve successful project outcomes

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; able to produce and deliver progress updates, proposals and reporting to audiences at all levels

Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills

Knowledge and experience of Life Cycle Management and working in an organisation with strong governance practices and processes

Competence with computer-based Project Management tools including MS Projects MSOffice etc.

Educated to degree level

Formal Project Management training, preferably PRINCE2 Practioner, Agile Project Management and/or PMDY

ITIL training or six sigma qualifications desirable but not essential

What we're looking for in you:

You have a proven track record of leading successful project delivery and building trust and confidence with your stakeholders. You must be capable of working in complex environments and collaborating across multiple business areas and across supply chains to achieve common business objectives. You must be able to demonstrate decisiveness in resolving issues, making decisions and identifying priorities and be able to confidently communicate (oral & written) with stakeholders at all levels.
