In 2015, the University was ranked 21st in the world in the QS World University Rankings. The Business School is part of the top 1% of business schools in the world to hold triple accreditation (awarded by international bodies AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB). The University and the Business School are located in the heart of the Edinburgh, a city which now holds the largest technology cluster outside London in terms of productivity, giving it the ‘flat white economy’ label, popular to regions with high numbers of start-ups.
