ILS Analysis Engineer
Would you like to play a pivotal role in the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) analysis activities for electronics products? We currently have a vacancy for an ILS Analysis Engineer at our site in Rochester.
As an ILS Analysis Engineer, you will be working within the ILS group. The group provides analysis and modelling services to the development and support teams, for a range of products including Helmet Display Systems, Head-Up Displays, Flight Control Systems and Mission Computers. The ILS activities are spread across all phases of the life cycle including product development, equipment entry into service and in-service support phases.
This role will provide you with the chance to develop within the field of ILS, honing your analysis and modelling skills. You will also have the chance to work with some of the latest deference technology on a wide range of products.
Your main responsibilities as an ILS Analysis Engineer will involve:
- Analysing and allocating specification requirements
- Writing specifications
- Reliability analysis and prediction
- Maintainability analysis and prediction
- Planning and running maintainability/testability demonstrations - including generation of plans and reports
- The preparation of Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR)
- The preparation of ILS plans, analysis reports and associated documentation
- Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
- Spares and repairs modelling
Your skills and qualifications as an ILS Analysis Engineer:
Degree or equivalent in mathematics/ electronics/ closely related subject
Knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Mathematical modelling
- Reliability/maintainability analysis using industry standard techniques
- Spares ranging
- A working knowledge of testability analysis and FMECA would be an advantage
