Requirements Team Leader

Would you like to play a key role in the development of Combat Management System (CMS) requirements across a number of our Maritime projects? We currently have a vacancy for a Requirements Team Leader at our site in New Malden.

As a Requirements Team Leader, you will be leading the team in creating, reviewing and amending new and existing requirements for CMS projects. with the aim of creating a common product based requirements set.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to play an influential role in defining the future CMS requirements, converging multiple projects into one product based model.

Your main responsibilities as a Requirements Team Leader will involve:

Leading requirement analysis and management activities

Supporting the convergence of individual project requirements into a common CMS1 product based requirement set

Supporting the production of new requirements (e.g. - Type 26 platform)

Managing requirements in the DOORs requirements database

Leading meetings with key stakeholders on requirements matters

Providing the team members with clear direction in their activities

Supporting with Bids/Estimating tasks

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

Demonstrable experience of system requirements analysis and management

Experience using the DOORs requirement capture tool

Team leadership experience

STEM related degree or equivalent experience

Desirable:

Knowledge of the DXL language

Software engineering experience

Trials & Integration Support experience

CMS 1 Combat Management Systems knowledge

Systems engineering experience with any of the following:

  • Naval Combat Management Systems
  • System Acceptance Management
  • Configuration Management
  • Performance Analysis
  • System Design
  • System Testing
