The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly capable Product Assurance Manager to work with the Quality Technical Future Systems Manager to provide Product Assurance (QA) across the project activities of the Future Systems Group within UK to help ensure that MBDA’s hi-tech weapon systems are developed to the required level of quality.
 
The Role
  • Primary Quality Authority for Future Systems programme, assuring activities comply with BMS process requirements and contractual standards.
  • Identify Quality risks and critical issues with mitigation solutions to assure achievement of Project & Quality Requirements
  • Advise the Commercial & Project Lead of acceptable quality requirements in the preparation of tenders/ Contract amendments or in response to customer enquiries
  • Manage the Quality team to provide quality assurance planning and processes within the Project team. Lead the Project Quality network (internal, supplier, customer for  both hardware and software activities.
  • Manage internal and external customer interfaces to ensure Customer satisfaction
  • Lead regular Project Quality Assessment and deliver measurements to the project team. Develop & implement appropriate action plans with the project.

  • You are an experienced Quality Assurance / Engineering professional with a good understanding of systems, software and hardware development practices
  • You have a collaborative but objective approach
  • You communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
  • You remain calm under pressure and cope well with unexpected changes
  • You can work independently and  as part of a functional and integrated team,  and can plan and prioritise your own work
  • You can grasp the essentials of a project, process, plan or problem but still work the detail
