We have over seven years’ experience within our core asset management and operational businesses managing UK offshore transmission assets on behalf of various investors. The combined capacity of these assets now stands at 1,700 MW with an asset value in excess of £1bn.

We are seeking to strengthen our team based in Lighthorne, near Warwick. This exciting opportunity is in a developing field which will continue to expand to meet national renewable energy requirements in the 21st Century and we are actively seeking to increase our portfolio in partnership with our major investment partners.

As Asset Management Engineer you will be responsible for asset life cycle management including the development and application of O&M regimes and the management of O&M service providers.

You will be a Chartered Engineer or Technician Engineer with a degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, in conjunction with practical experience of High Voltage (HV) plant and equipment. Ideally we are looking for a candidate with experience in several of the following areas:

  • HV plant life cycle management.
  • Protection and SCADA.
  • Contract Management.
  • Network/System Analysis.
  • Understanding and application of Safety Rules and establishing Quality Management Systems.
  • Management of subsea and onshore cable systems.
  • Knowledge of Regulation/Grid Code.
  • Application of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation in the workplace.
  • Experience of offshore platform structures or similar.

You will be a motivated person who is able to work in a small team and able to communicate with a range of people from a number of organisations.

Although the role is based in Lighthorne, flexible working from home and site is a key feature and the package includes a car allowance, pension contributions and bonus scheme.
