So, what does a day in the life of a Kubrick graduate trainee look like?
Training is based in-house at their London offices for 16 weeks. The course is in-depth, comprehensive and delivered by industry experts. You will be guided through real client projects and gain first-hand experience in operating confidently as part of a fast-paced team. A strong, community driven team and a consistent flow of interesting and challenging projects will ensure that there is never a dull moment during your training. A typical trainee will use tool kits such as Tableau, Alteryx, Hadoop, Collibra and Data Iku to build up their specialist skills. New starters will gain vital expertise in various data processes including modelling, processing, analysis & presentation and ingesting even if they have not had any prior technical experience.
Starting your career at Kubrick will mean you are given real challenges from a variety of clients from the day you start. This first-hand experience will prepare you to run live data programmes from the outset. With nearly 70 clients from a range of different backgrounds including fashion and automotive, you can make sure you grasp the skills to enter any sector. So now you know what to expect, here’s what happens in the recruitment process:
Kubrick will carry out an initial telephone or video interview with you after they receive your application. If you are successful, you will be invited to an assessment day. This will give you an opportunity to meet with Kubrick consultants who are currently in training (and ask any burning questions you may have), and have one to one interviews with the Kubrick team. In addition, the day will be filled with unique and fun problems to solve which will bond you with the other applicants.
This training program is geared for people with a head for statistics in the early stages of their careers, opening up a whole plethora of exciting opportunities. “Our Kubrick consultants are given real life data challenges from day one meaning they are prepared to run live data programmes with our Kubrick clients from day 1,” says Simon Walker, Managing Partner at Kubrick. “The training programme will certify you as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer of Data Governance Analyst - accelerating your career opportunities and allowing you to command a salary potentially in excess of £60k on completion.”
