As a Programme Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the clear definition of the Waste Programme mission and will lead the safe and successful delivery of all programme-related activity across the entire Magnox organisation.  You will ensure that all wastes have a destination and a plan for disposal, and obtain all necessary approvals from the regulators and stakeholders.  You will develop and implement the Waste programme strategy to maximise opportunities and efficiencies to the business and deliver best outcomes.

A comprehensive knowledge of technical aspects of radioactive and hazardous waste management principles gained within a nuclear environment are essential. You will have gained significant experience of managing complex projects and programmes, combined with a detailed knowledge of Site Licence Conditions and environmental legislation. You will be an effective leader, with safety as your highest priority, and able to build constructive relationships with the relevant regulatory bodies, NDA and other stakeholders.
