An excellent opportunity has arisen within a leading trans-national defence company, for a Bristol based, highly motivated individual to lead a multi-skilled security team covering a dynamic and evolving site. As an experienced security professional you will provide advice, guidance and delivery of physical, personnel and information security solutions to the many varied and challenging projects located at the site.
The Role
A varied and dynamic role, working as part of a progressive security operations environment, will see the successful candidate applying various risk management and information management skills and techniques, whether advising our world leading projects on bespoke security needs, or developing the site security processes to promote a secure modern working environment. They will also act as the operational lead for the audit and certification of the site and associated projects, against governmental and MOD regulations.

What are we looking for?
- A professional qualification in either security or a related area (level 5 preferred)
- You will have experience of managing a team, working within defence or other government regulated industry environments.
- You will have experience in the application of security risk management within a government regulated industry.
- You will have excellent communications skills, with the ability to translate security information into focused and relevant advice, in either presentational or written formats
- You will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- You will have an understanding of the risks associated with the cyber domain and the information security management processes used to mitigate them.
