As Care and Maintenance Programme Manager you will lead all aspects of the programme strategy across the Magnox organisation, to establish scaleable arrangements for managing sites in C&M, taking account of the remaining hazards on the sites and satisfying all relevant legislation and regulations.  In this exciting and evolving role, you will be at the forefront of one of the most important phases of the decommissioning life cycle, ensuring the handover of sites in a safe state, protecting the legacy of Britain’s nuclear sector.   Working with the Magnox Leadership, the NDA and regulatory bodies, you will help to define future care and maintenance programmes, building on lessons learned.  Managing a set of complex multi-site projects, you will ensure that strict budgetary controls and accurate forecasting tools are in place.

You will have gained extensive experience of managing complex programmes and projects, with excellent budgetary management skills combined with a strong emphasis on forecasting and project spending controls.  You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work with regulators and other senior stakeholders to challenge views and opinions in a constructive and empathetic manner.
