We are looking for Field Service Engineer to join our team within the Marine sector of Rolls-Royce in Dunfermline. In this exciting role you will be required to provide day-to-day, direct operational support service to the customer and independently carries out on-site repair / overhaul on a Rolls-Royce Marine products.

You will be required to travel worldwide on a regular basis and within short notice periods.

Key Accountabilities:

Undertake routine on-site overhaul, repair Rolls-Royce Marine control systems on board the customer's vessels.
Install and commission upgrades to Rolls-Royce Marine control equipment, including propulsions and steering gear control systems.
Carry out sea trials on Rolls-Royce Marine equipment.
Conduct inspections to defined standards to ensure conformance to specification / tolerances. Support the maintenance and updating all necessary technical documentation.
Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable legal and Company procedures, including Health & Safety policies.
Provide work direction and technical guidance to others in-field, coordinating internal and external resources where required, in support of product maintenance and recovery action in accordance with customer contracted requirements.

Qualifications:

HNC / HND or country equivalent qualification in electrical engineering discipline is desirable.
Previous experience in a field service customer-facing role would be an advantage.
Strong understanding and knowledge of a range of Marine products, systems and applications.
A good tolerance for managing pressure / stressful situations, with demonstrated good conflict management.

Current UK driving license or equivalent.
