TFX Senior Contracts Officer BAE Systems Turkey

Are you a fluent English speaker? Would you like to work for a multi-national organisation supporting a strategically important defence project? We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Contracts Officer working in a collaborative environment, in support of the TF-X / MMU Programme at the Turkish Aerospace (TA) site in Ankara, Turkey.

As a Senior Contracts Officer (TF-X), you will be a key part of the BAE Systems Turkey TF-X Team delivering our contractual commitments and administering the day-to-day commercial aspects of the collaboration contract with TA.

Your main responsibilities as a TFX Senior Officer BAE Systems Turkey will involve:

Ensuring the application of BAE Systems commercial governance, including adherence to company processes and policies

Commercial management of TF-X through to Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and subsequent phases, including:

Contract Management (including management of invoicing and payments, and support to internal project/financial review process)

Change Management (including supporting negotiations with TA and SSB in respect to contract structure, terms and conditions and support to price agreements)

Providing Intellectual Property and Export Control advice in line with corporate governance

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customer and internal cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of contractual obligations.

Administering contractual obligations and ensuring commercial issues are managed to conclusion, escalating as appropriate.

Liaison with the UK-based functional and project teams in delivery of above

Providing support to the UK-based Commercial function as required.

Your skills and qualifications:

Extensive experience of contract management in a collaborative environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Turkish and English

Expert user of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint

Detail understanding of typical business commercial finance and project processes (desirable)

Ability to problem solve in a collaborative manner

Ability to assimilate and communicate/present information and make recommendations to key stakeholders in Turkey and the UK
