Database Developer

Due to continued growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for Database Developers to join our growing team in Portsmouth.

BAE Systems create some of the world's most cutting-edge products, and we want you to be a part of our team. We are currently in search of .Net Developers to create and maintain software to help develop critical products for our clients. Your main responsibilities as a Database Developer will involve:

Developing maintainable solutions to meet requirements.

Integrating solutions with COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) products.

Take ownership for developing, implementing and executing your delivery plan.

Be involved in or create technical proposals and documentation.

Your skills and qualifications as a Database Developer:

Essential:

SQL & PL/SQL development experience

Desirable (but not essential):

Understanding the basics use of BI tools

ERP Development Experience, especially SAP

Experience in Dimensional Model

Experience to Oracle APEX

Experience to Oracle Web Services

What we're looking for in you:

A working experience in Database Development

Demonstrable creativity and innovation in problem solving; applying solutions for the benefit of the customer.

Self-motivated, with a strong drive for successful delivery of objectives.

Good verbal, written, communication and negotiation skills.

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: Competitive dependant on skills & experience

Grade: FSL 3
