Managing resourcing within the team, including progression and development of engineers, organising training as required and addressing performance issues.

Your skills and qualifications:

Ability to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across the project is essential, gathering information to understand the current and predicted weight outturn for the ship and demonstrate that design intent and the weight and CoG budget are being maintained

Some experience of leading and developing a team of engineers is essential Track record on managing or integrating complex engineering projects is essential

Managing weights or awareness of the impact of weight on the design solution is desirable within a maritime, aerospace or automotive industry. A background in an engineering discipline, especially structures, mechanical or electrical engineering, or hydromechanics, may also be suitable. - ;
