This role will working on Northrop Grumman’s Forensic and Biometric Interim Capability (FABrIC), where we provide services, systems operations and maintenance.

FABrIC is a recompete of IDENT1, which provides identity management and crime scene forensic systems, which use fingerprints to provide the principal means of forensically verifying or resolving identities in the United Kingdom for law enforcement. It is a bespoke service that is a critical part of the national infrastructure for policing.

How you will make a difference

You will be joining our team as a Software Development Engineer where key responsibilities will include supporting the team in applying knowledge of computer science principles, and computer programming languages and techniques to code software applications.

You will be a highly motivated individual willing to work in a team environment with good verbal and written communication skills

Key criteria required...

•           Java or C / C++

•           Experience with software development life cycle

Also, we’d love it if you have...

  • Experience in SOAP, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Postgres DB
  • Experience with Shell Scripting
  • Python programming skills.
  • Experience with Oracle or any other relational DB. f you can do all this and more, you’ll enjoy a growing career as we work hard to continuously innovate the world of cyber security.
