The Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering is currently recruiting for a Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow (TF/STF) to contribute to preparation, delivery and assessment to support electrical/electronic/mechatronic design teaching related activities in both undergraduate and taught postgraduate degrees; please see https://www.bath.ac.uk/elec-eng for full details of our courses. A significant element of this post will be to coordinate and support our full-time Group Design and Business Project (GDBP), which occupies the entire second semester of MEng year 3.

Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and, ideally, a PhD and a higher education teaching qualification or professional recognition; please see the job descriptions and person specifications for the specific duties and criteria for TF and STF levels. The Department has a strong record in both research and teaching and close collaborations with industry. 91% of its research activity was graded as either world leading or internationally excellent in the Research Excellence Framework 2014 and it is consistently very highly placed in the National Student Survey.

In addition to a full CV, applicants must provide a separate teaching statement of up to 4 pages to cover their teaching background and experience, and/or relevant industrial design experience.
