Senior Systems Engineer - Display Products

Would you like to work as part of an integrated project team developing world-leading augmented reality and see-through display systems? We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Systems Engineer - Display Products at our site in Rochester.

As a Senior Systems Engineer - Display Products, you will be you will be working in a team environment to specify, design and verify systems that meets the complex and demanding requirements of our customers. These systems provide solutions for our military and commercial products.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within a varied team, supporting new and innovative products alongside those that are established across a range of applications and industries.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Systems Engineer - Display Products will involve:

Working in a team environment to specify, design and verify systems that meets the complex and demanding requirements of our customers. These systems provide solutions for our military and commercial products

Making cross-functional technical trade-off decisions

Knowledge management and knowledge transfer

Mentoring and coaching other engineers

Leading technical development activities

Your skills and qualifications as a Senior Systems Engineer - Display Products:

Essential:

Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

Experience in augmented reality and see-through display systems

Extensive experience as a systems engineer including specifying and managing requirements, system level design and System verification and integration experience

Experience of making cross-functional technical trade-off decisions

Desirable:

Chartered status desirable

Use of modelling tools such as Matlab/Simulink and Enterprise Architect

Experience of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with knowledge of SysML being advantageous

Experience in safety assessments for civil and military projects

Knowledge of electronics and embedded software

Experience of trials and end user interactions
