Releasing Officer
We currently have a vacancy for a Releasing Officer at our site in Rochester.
As a Releasing Officer, you will be working as part of a small flexible team with responsibility for planning and supporting the release of equipment from Operations.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work as part of the project team liaising with different stakeholders and being part of the integrated manufacturing team.
Your main responsibilities as a Releasing Officer will involve:
Ensuring that release activity is performed expediently
Producing and signing relevant release certification
Documenting and reporting any failures of products
Preparing failure reports
Coordinating release activities with customers
Coordinating activities with Internal Logistics
Contributing proactively to improvements
Your skills and qualifications as a Releasing Officer:
Engineering / Manufacturing background (ideally aviation)
Customer facing experience both internal and external
Experience interpreting standards
Operationally and strategically minded
IT skills
Electrical and / or mechanical or optical background within Engineering
Desirable HNC or equivalent

You will have the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships across all levels within the business. You will be proactive with an enthusiastic approach to work. You will have excellent communication, problem solving and organisation skills.

Salary: £30,000
