The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen in a fast-moving multinational team for an Integrated Logistic Support Manager to develop their skills working on a dynamic product range.  This role would suit an experienced Engineer, preferably with previous knowledge in the support engineering domain during product development working in either the Defence or Commercial environment
 
The Role
As ILS manager you shall
  • Define and manage the ILS work packages for a specified product to be delivered across a range of customers around the world
  • Provide domain expertise to the projects on all ILS / Customer Support related matters.
  • Act as the primary interface to the Customer on all support related matters during the concept, assessment, development and initial delivery project phases, and be the customer voice to the project.
  • Lead a team of specialists, ensure a supportable product, and develop & deliver effective and sustainable Support Solutions
  • Be an agent for change, Identifying and Implementing improvements to position the support solution so as to enhance the customers experience in their ability to access and receive support

You will change the way we deliver support within MBDA.
     
    What are we looking for?
  • A technical / numeric degree and significant recent experience in ILS / engineering leadership
  • A sound understanding of engineering processes and their application in development of support elements of the system
  • Knowledge of UK & international standards relating to ILS activities.
  • An ability to challenge design concepts and trade requirements, in order to optimise support.
  • Well-developed strategic planning and organisational skills.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
