Assistant Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer - Cavendish Nuclear

Heysham 1

About the role

Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are looking to recruit an Assistant EC&I Engineer based at our site in Heysham 1.

You will join a team that has vast experience in Nuclear Engineering and provide professionally competent specialist services to our many clients.

Within this role you will deliver allocated project work from assignment to close out to support the Heysham 1 fuel route department. This will require close collaboration with the client, other team members and contract partners to deliver to the required standards.

As this is a trainee position we will offer full on the job training and will welcome applications from ambitious newly qualified engineers with an understanding an appreciation of Electrical Engineering.

What do I need to do the role?

  • Understanding of Electrical Engineering
  • Relevant qualifications or apprenticeship
  • Ability and willingness to learn Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering
  • Ensure safety standards are met at all times

What else do I need to know?

  • The role will be based Heysham 1 Power Station
  • Nuclear experience is not a necessity as applications from all engineering domains will be welcome.
