About the role

Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit an experienced Electronics Engineering professional to be responsible for the delivery of lectures for course modules within the Common Engineering Applications Department.


What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to have proven experience in an Electronics Engineering role, and either hold a degree in a relevant subject or be qualified to HND level but willing to undertake structured teacher training as part of the role to gain the necessary education certifications to deliver these courses.

You will also need:

  • A degree / HND Level Education in Electronics Engineering subject - would be good to have specialist experience in one or more of the following - Radar, Electronic Control Systems, Telecommunications, Broadcast Engineering or Avionics
  • Strong communication skills at all levels both verbal and written
  • To deliver structured course content against academic modules after undergoing training on education delivery
  • Experience in teaching / instructing roles would be ideal but full training will be given to Level 4 Certification in Education

What else do I need to know?

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
