About the role

Here at Babcock International we are looking to recruit a Sales Director based at our site in Stockton Close, Walsall. You will join a team that has vast experience in Vehicle Engineering and provide professionally competent specialist services to our many clients.

Using your experience, you will carry out all the duties of a Sales Director to deliver and provide an in-depth sales assurance role to ensure our business offerings are exposed to both UK and international markets. You will provide clear leadership and vision, inspiring and motivating employees to achieve excellence and drive our business development activities.

This is a highly rewarding position working within a global market leading engineering organisation. We provide in depth vehicle engineering services to commercial, military and civil organisations including MoD, Emergency Services and Government.

What do I need to do the role?

Proven senior leadership and management skills including a track record of increasing revenue for renowned organizations.

We would also like you to have:

  • Experience working within a defence organisation (MOD / Commercial)
  • A good understanding of military vehicle engineering.
  • Be educated to degree level in a relevant engineering qualification.
  • Previously been involved with bidding process from initial tender to delivery.

What else do I need to know?

  • The role will be based in Walsall with regular travel across the UK.
  • Successful candidates must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance.
