The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Bristol seeks an enthusiastic, Electrical Systems Technical Specialist.

The role will support Faculty of Engineering staff and researchers to deploy and use electric drives and invertor systems to support research activities. You will be comfortable with first principles use and configuration of electric drives and invertors. Your expert knowledge will allow you advise others in how best to use electric drives, to the edge of their capability, and for novel and ingenious applications. You will understand the health and safety implications arising from design and installation decisions and be happy ensuring they are managed. You will be able to explain your knowledge to, and advise others, in a clear and confident manner.

Located in the Faculty of Engineering in the heart of our Clifton Campus you will facilitate the use of electric drives and invertors to support cutting-edge research.
