Having signed a number of high value and large scale international deals to implement automated warehouses for clients around the world, Ocado are now focusing on recruiting high calibre engineers to help change the way the world shops.

The Realisation Engineer is a key part of the engineering team working to achieve this. It will see you being responsible for bringing the engineering aspects of the project from design to delivery onsite. Responsible for preparing, handling and de-risking site installation you will take on project management accountability to make the new warehouses a reality being the point of contact for the breadth of engineering.

Based at the Ocado Head Office in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, only a 20 minute commute from London King’s Cross and with a free shuttle bus provided from Hatfield Station to the office, as a Realisation Engineer at Ocado you will be the link and liaison between teams based at different locations and time zones.

The successful candidate will ideally be an engineer with excellent project management capabilities, who is commercially minded with the ability to take ownership of engineering problems remaining hands on with automation engineering detail.

You will have had exposure to field/on-site engineering and be able to manage the workflow of cross functional teams.
