Capture Manager

Would you like a role that enables you to support all aspects of capture activity within an interesting and exciting business area? We currently have a vacancy for a Capture Manager at our site in Christchurch.

As a Capture Manager, you will be responsible for leading the capture element of a campaign, including the capture plan. This key business winning activity provides the bridge between business development activities and business delivery.

This role will potentially provide you with the chance to work on prospects across a number of countries and customers.

Your main responsibilities as a Capture Manager will involve:

Supporting the development and implementation of the capture plan encompassing Win Strategy, Price to Win etc.

Assimilating information for the Business Case for continuing to pursue and bidding the opportunity including Capture budget

Assisting in the planning and appropriate tailoring of relevant processes, including Lifecycle Management (LCM) reviews and approvals

Supporting requirement interpretation and Solution option generation including make/buy and partnering/teaming strategy

Ensuring a smooth hand-over to Project Manager for delivery phase and that lessons learnt activity is conducted

Supporting Black Hat & Blue Team reviews

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Understanding of early lifecycle processes and approaches
  • Strategic planning, risk management and/or change management experience
  • Experience of working to quality standards and qualifications, AS9100 desirable
  • Project management experience with a good understanding of tools and techniques
  • Ability to work to defined and structured lifecycle processes with formal gate reviews

You must be willing to occasionally travel as part of this role.

Location: Christchurch

Salary: £41,000+ (commensurate with skills and experience)
