This is a senior project management role, accountable for on time and to cost delivery of Depth Maintenance projects for the Sentinel Fleet
Raytheon is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to own and manage scheduled maintenance projects for the Sentinel Fleet.
The primary output is the ‘On Time’ Delivery of aircraft back into the Forward Fleet while also maintaining cost and quality performance in line with agreed plans
The successful candidate can expect a fast paced, high profile role delivering a tangible contribution to operational availability of the critical ISR Fleet component.
This is a customer and user facing role so they applicants must be comfortable working directly with the military user as well as providing effective leadership to a team of highly capable technicians.
While this is not a directly technical role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate their domain knowledge and an ability to fluently deal with the engineering complexity work, operating in the highly regulated environment, specifically within a Part 145 organisation.
The Aircraft Maintenance Project Manager should expect to have ownership and accountability for the successful output of the aircraft along with the appropriate authority to execute this work.
The right person will demonstrate collaborative behaviours and have a keen focus on continuous improvement and optimisation and be able to provide timely and complete status reporting both to the business and the customer.
They will be comfortable making priority calls and agreeing solutions to unforeseen problems via impact assessment, planning and negotiation

Responsibilities –
Project Management of assigned scope of work
Delivery of assigned outputs to agreed time, cost and quality targets
Day to Day cooperation with the Maintenance Service across multiple sites to deliver agreed outputs
Ensuring delivery of assigned Depth Maintenance projects
Continuous Improvement and Optimisation of service delivery using Raytheon Six Sigma and Lean approaches
Executing additional delegated tasks as directed, acting as part of the leadership team of the Integrated Sentinel Support Solution (ISSS) Programme.
Daily liaison and collaboration with the government customer and military user.
Comprehensive weekly reports showing status or assigned projects.
Compliance with relevant regulations.
Working with the customer and Raytheon technical teams to ensure timely approved information is delivered to the maintenance teams.
Maintenance planning and scheduling including development of Statements of Work
Development of Statements of Requirement for externally provided work.
Working with the Supply Chain Management organisation to ensure timely availability of necessary materials and parts.
Ownership of Risks and Opportunities relating to assigned scope
Regular travel to other Raytheon sites in the UK
