UKAEA operates two major fusion experiments through its Culham Centre for Fusion Energy (CCFE) research arm - the world`s largest JET device on behalf of European partners and the new MAST Upgrade compact device. In addition, UKAEA has burgeoning programmes looking into key fusion technologies such as robotics and remote maintenance (at the RACE facility), materials research and testing (at the MRF centre), advanced computing, tritium handling, component testing and developing the STEP spherical tokamak power plant programme.

- Relevant experience working within an engineering discipline
