Are you a switched on, driven and passionate individual with project management exposure? Do you have the ability to provide logic and innovation within an engineering environment?

Then we want to hear from you!

Ocado are an innovative and creative business growing at a rapid pace! No longer just an online grocery retailer, we are now focusing on the development and implementation of automated warehouses for retail clients around the world!

Boasting modern head offices and an excellent working environment in Hatfield, Hertfordshire we are just 25 minutes from King’s Cross and offer a free shuttle bus from the station right to the door.

Our warehouses already operate with a high level of automation, optimally moving products/assets around our sites, but we are now actively looking for Business Project Managers to join the team to develop and implement even higher levels of automation for an exciting and varied range of existing and future projects!

As a Business Project Manager you will have the opportunity to develop and role out major automation projects that will have a permanent effect on the productivity and efficiency of our current and future sites.

A fantastic time to join Ocado, this role also provides you with the cross-functional exposure necessary for you to really develop and progress your career within the business!

Knowledge of mechanical handling equipment (MHE) and automation is a distinct advantage but if you have a strong engineering background and qualifications coupled with a flair for project management then this is not essential. The team is already comprised of Business Project Managers with differing areas of expertise and experience!

We are the world’s largest dedicated online grocery retailer with over 580,000 active customers shopping with us today. Our objective is to provide our customers with the best shopping experience in terms of service, range and price, which builds a strong business and delivers long term value for our shareholders.

We have developed a unique end-to-end operating solution for online grocery retail based on proprietary technology and IP, suitable for operating our own business and those of our commercial partners.

The world is changing fast, driven by different shopping habits and ever more advanced technology for the consumer. Grocery is the largest of all retail segments and is moving online. Moreover, the rapid growth of shopping using mobile devices opens new opportunities. We are well positioned to take advantage of these long-term structural trends for the benefit of our customers, partners and shareholders.

With everything from websites to warehouses designed in-house, our departments are specialists in a wide range of technologies.
