Opportunities have arisen in the Manufacturing Test Department at our new manufacturing facility in Bolton for high calibre electronics test engineers; this is an exciting and challenging time to be joining the team as we move from development to production for a number of our high tech complex missile systems and equipment . As the European champion in our sector, our vision is to continue to grow our presence as a global player.
What are we looking for?
  • HNC/HND (Electronics) Level of Qualifications or equivalent, plus substantial level of experience in Digital and Analogue Electronics Manufacture and Test, plus a good understanding of electro-mechanical actuation systems.
  • A good understanding of measurement and test principles and equipment.
  • Proven Leadership ability
  • Good Planning and Organising skills.
  • Communication skills; the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.

The Role:

The Principal Electronics Engineers provide technical leadership and management for the test engineering teams in production test and diagnostics of complex weapons at all levels of build i.e. system, unit and circuit card level.
You can expect to be working closely with the product and test equipment design teams during the development phase of our products and into production
The technologies can include Digital and Analogue Electronics, RF & Microwave, Thermal Imaging and complex mechanical actuation and control.
You will be an integral part of the team responsible for delivering high reliability products in line with demanding and challenging requirements.
