Only a 20 minute commute from London King’s Cross and with a free shuttle bus provided from Hatfield Station to the office, as a Solutions Designer you will be given the opportunity to make our automation solutions a reality, shaping the way that we all receive our groceries.
Part of the new CFC (Customer Fulfilment Centre) Design Team, the role of Solutions Designer gives you the exciting opportunity to design the concept of a variety of operational areas within the warehouses. You will be designing solutions through the analysis of operational metrics, assumptions and business requirements.
A fantastic opportunity for either a graduate within engineering, design or similar STEM background or for someone who is currently working in Operations at management level. No formal design experience is needed but you must have a creative flair and a passion for developing effective solutions within a fast paced environment as well as excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Being part of our journey to develop and design warehouse solutions for our clients will give you the opportunity to develop new concepts and operational designs with your team understanding all aspects of sizing and capacity, business requirements and layout of the site. You will experience collaboration with other teams across the business and gain exposure of communicating with both internal & external stakeholders.
In this position you will be using operational metrics and assumptions to analyse and model requirements of a design which means that you must be comfortable using Excel and have good numerical and analytical skills.
