Only a 20 minute commute from London King’s Cross and with a free shuttle bus provided from Hatfield Station to the office, as a Solutions Design Manager you will be given the exciting opportunity to work with cutting edge technology, making our automation solutions a reality, shaping the way that we all receive our groceries. 

As Solutions Design Manager you will have the challenging responsibility of designing and delivering the operational processes and fulfilment solutions for these revolutionary warehouses. This role offers you the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the design of our warehouses ensuring that they maximise productivity, cater to the clients demands and offer the most efficient solutions.

As Solutions Design Manager, you will deal with all aspects of sizing and capacity, operational metrics and layout of the warehouse including mechanical handling, automated and refrigeration equipment. You will identify business requirements, consider operational flow and design productive, ergonomic solutions.

You will also be mentoring and developing a team of designers and partnering with other teams across the business.

To be successful in the position of Solutions Design Manager and join us on this exciting journey, you will need experience of designing operational solutions within warehousing, supply chain, manufacturing or similar. You will have significant exposure to project management and preferably hold qualifications in engineering and/or design.

You will have excellent IT and numerical skills, an extremely analytical mind-set and a proactive approach to working. You will be a pro-active mentor and communicator and you will have a motivated, driven and “can do” personality.
