IM&T Leader - Product Management

Would you like to play a key role in a function which continues to go from strength to strength? We currently have a vacancy for an IM&T Leader - Product Management at our site in Barrow.

As an IM&T Leader - Product Management, you will be working on a busy IT team running a number of delivery projects configuring SAP to meet our business needs

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within a function which has seen significant investment in our integrated CAD/PLM/MES/EPP based solutions planned over several years.

Your main responsibilities as an IM&T Leader - Product Management will involve:

Play a key role in the delivery of IT implementation programmes - the candidate will be supporting multiple projects, in parallel, covering the following aspects:

Programme scope definition incorporating technical elements of scope for CAD/PLM/MES/ERP related development projects

Definition of solution road maps aligning with BAE Systems strategy.

Leading solution design and assessment activities in order to build robust technical solution architecture for the CAD/PLM/MES/ERP related development projects

Advocate and support the maintenance of the programme's reference architecture

Advise on the scope of individual "releases" of enhancements to Solutions aligned to business demand dates.

Ensure the quality of the solution design and build documentation.

Be responsible for the completeness and consistency of the Solution design and its coherence with the scope and design of integrated enterprise solutions

Review and advise on the integrated enterprise solutions and standalone environment strategy; to support development (interfaces and application), test, training, staging, production, and production support

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

CAD/PLM/MES/ERP Consultant with broad understanding and experience of designing and implementing solutions using one or more of these types of Applications

Be up to date with the latest capabilities offered through

Ability to prepare justifications for how existing and new functionality can be exploited within our business to bring benefits for example SAP Mobile and PE&O

Desirable:

Skill in design and deployment of:

Integrated CAD Tools such as Foran, NX, Dassault 3DS

Teamcenter

SAP on HANA

SAP CAMMS, SAP PE&O

Maritime - Submarines

Our Submarines business has been safely delivering world class submarines to the UK Royal Navy for more than a century.

The Astute class will equip the Royal Navy with its largest and most capable generation of attack submarines. We are responsible for the design, build, test and commissioning of these state-of-the-art vessels. In total, seven boats will make up the fleet, each weighing a mighty 7,400 tonnes.
