Production Technician with outstanding Wiring / Soldering

Are you an enthusiastic and talented Production Technician with outstanding Wiring / Soldering skills? Are you looking to join a company that is world leading in innovation and technology? If so we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our site based in Rochester.

As a Production Technician (Wiring / Soldering) you will work within an integrated manufacturing / repair / project team to build, wire and/or inspect an assembly or sub assembly using our Manufacturing Execution System, working on state of the art equipment including advance pilot control systems and advanced pilot displays

In this role you will complete each operation, whether using paperwork or electronic aids, to set target times ensuring the standard of quality is also met.

HOURS: Twilight shift - 4 day shift Monday - Thursday 2pm-12am

Your main responsibilities as a Production Technician (Wiring / Soldering) will involve:

Wiring/soldering and assembling electronics

Undertaking inspection or test where trained and requested to do so

Working strictly to our MES electronic work instructions against IPC standard, to achieve the standard required

Maintaining accurate written and electronic records are essential

Your skills:

Ability to wire/solder to the IPC standard would be advantageous

Experience in defence industry /electronics would be advantageous

Basic inspecting/fitting/test experience would be advantageous

IT Literate

Location: Rochester, Kent UK

Salary: £Dependent on Experience + 25% shift premium
