The technician will help maintain the equipment already existing on the beamline, and will work with the beamline scientists and engineers in designing and installing new beamline equipment as part of upgrades. You will need to ensure that all beamline work is carried out in a safe manner, and that the equipment is appropriately integrated and installed.
This role does not meet the required skill level for a Tier 2 work visa and therefore we would be unable to sponsor individuals due to the current Home Office rules. To be appointed to the role, candidates will need to have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship from us.
