Toolset Support / Training Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity available within the Engineering Systems Competency Centre (ESCC) as a Toolset Support / Training Engineer based primarily, but not limited to, the F35 Programme. This role will be based at our site in Samlesbury.

As a Toolset Support / Training Engineer you will assist with the development, testing, deployment, support and training of Engineering Systems Competency Centre toolsets on the F35 Programme.

This role will give you the opportunity to work on a wide spectrum of toolset support and training activities across multiple engineering applications (CATIA, PDM, 2D/3D Visualisation, Structures, etc.), which encompasses multiple departments/disciplines (Security, Process, Training, Design, Manufacture, DXC, etc.)

Your main responsibilities as a Toolset Support / Training Engineer will involve:

Joining an existing team to help carry out toolset support, and discharge toolset training

Developing and supporting application updates and testing, with subsequent deployment activities

Management of toolset application accounts

Providing ongoing application support to the end user

Producing, maintaining and supporting related process developments

Developing any training material for related toolset applications, and subsequently deliver this training

Carrying out software and hardware fault finding

Your skills and qualifications as a Toolset Support / Training Engineer

Experience within an IT engineering field would be ideal, along with the following applications, but not necessary:

- CATIA (both V4 and V5)

- PLM applications

- Digital Mock-up applications

- Structures applications

Knowledge in the use of Microsoft packages such as, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
