Role
An opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced “hands on” Aeronautical Engineering Technician. Working as a member of the technical staff team in the School of Engineering and Sustainable Development, you will assist in the provision of technical support to staff and students in their teaching and research activities.
Your main duties will include providing a comprehensive and efficient technical service to support the day-to-day running of the Aeronautical Laboratories and associated areas. Experience in the field of Aeronautical Engineering is essential. Knowledge of renewable energy systems and health & safety is critical.
Ideal Candidate
You will be expected to have experience of providing professional skills as described in the Job Description. You should be able to prioritise and organise workload with minimal supervision, have a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail. You must be well motivated, flexible and able to work without close supervision as well as within a team environment.
