Overview: The Programme Management team are responsible for specific Delivery programmes in both the delivery of new devices and in the managing of Update delivery programmes. The team of 15 work closely to deliver programmes across Europe and the US. 

As Programme Manager, you will be expected to manage up to six programmes at any one time, within a 6-18 months’ schedule.


Core responsibilities will involve, but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for the financial performance of the programme in relation to the agreed budget
  • Responsible for the schedule adherence of the programme
  • To act as the primary interface with the customer from Contract Award to completion of delivery of the programme requirements and into the life of the device with the customer
  • To co-ordinate the resources of the company and its sub-contractors and suppliers to meet the programme requirements

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential skills and experience:  

  • Experience of working as a Programme or Portfolio Manager in a company producing high value items with a blend of hardware and software specialists and products
  • Able to cope with the pace of a fast moving delivery business, managing change and managing a high workload
  • Experience of delivering a Programme or Portfolio to a customer, including developing customer intimacy


Qualification and educational requirements:

  • Ideally APMP qualification or equivalent from another PM institution
  • A minimum of HND in Manufacturing, Engineering or Business
