Job Details
Higher technical diploma in the field of audio-visual production, specializing in audio techniques or a related field.
Experience:
- Demonstrated competencies in designing and installing conference room facilities.
- Customer relations, technical support.
- Management of audio-visual operations teams.
Technical competencies:
- Audio-visual production: in-depth knowledge of audio equipment and techniques, and of audio-visual and conference room equipment; knowledge of acoustic simulation software, simultaneous interpreting systems, multi-camera video mixers, and video-conferencing systems.
- Knowledge of programming techniques and languages: practical knowledge of programming Extron and Crestron automated controllers.
- Use of office software packages: proficiency with and liking for computing tools (MS Office, web interfaces, etc.); basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software.
- Knowledge and deployment of computing hardware: basic knowledge of computing networks.
Language skills:
- Spoken and written English or French: ability to understand and speak the other language in a professional context. The ability to draw-up technical specifications and documents in at least one of the two languages.
