Location - Reading / Basingstoke Area

We currently have excellent opportunities for Engineers across multiple disciplines at all levels to work within our Engineering Functions at AWE. You could be supporting a wide range of challenging weapons related projects throughout the product lifecycle, providing engineering solutions to one of our many complex facilities or delivering engineering and production systems to support a range of processes. The opportunities are endless!

Ideally you will have demonstrable experience of working on multi-disciplined projects and be familiar with one or more of the following areas:

· Generating concepts and designs for review leading to manufacture and validation of engineering solutions to satisfy customer requirements

· Development, testing and evaluation of theoretical designs

· Production and delivery of high quality technical models, drawings, reports and presentations

· Managing technical partnerships

· Designing Safety Assessments

· Requirements engineering

· Human Factors

· Providing technical support on maintenance activities and equipment

· Construction and Commissioning

To be considered for the role, ideally you will have an HNC or higher qualification in an engineering discipline or proven experience working in a similar environment and possess strong communication skills.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
