AWE are currently recruiting for a Group Leader Internal Regulation

Location - Reading / Basingstoke area

We are looking for an inquisitive independent thinker to join the Internal Regulation management team to lead and enable the team in providing challenge to the business and advice to the Assurance Director and on the Company's Environmental, Security, Safety, Health and Quality performance. You will need to be able influence the business at all levels in its drive for continual improvement these areas.

In this role you will providing Leadership and management oversight to the team of Internal Regulators, providing information to allow an independent assessment on the performance of the business, whilst gaining agreement to findings and follow-up of issues and actions in collaboration with stakeholders.

You will be part of a management team whose objective is to supervise, manage and motivate the team and understand training and development needs. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of surveillance activities of the Internal Regulation Team as well as routine engagement with Directors to enable informed decision making. Undertaking benchmarking and looking to identify and develop improvements in the end to end inspection processes, and internal procedures.

We are looking for candidates to be able to demonstrate:

· Previous experience in a highly regulated industry

· NEBOSH General Certificate, Degree, Vocational qualification or equivalent

· Leadership and management skills/experience

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the business

· Report writing and presentation skills

· Member of IOSH/IEMA/SRP or applicable institution (Preferred)

· Experience of undertaking investigations and/or Audit (Preferred)

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
