The Role
  • Practice, promote and uphold Company planning, scheduling and resourcing tools and processes
  • Analyse Schedule and Cost performance, determining variance and its respective causes, and providing mitigating options if required.
  • Support the Manufacturing team and Business & Performance team in the production and maintenance of robust schedules, cost and resource plans in Primavera for both the production phase and the bridge between the end of the development phase and the ramp-up to production.
  • Produce a monthly integrated suite of manufacturing and project performance metrics
  • Foster good working relationships with the Heads of Manufacturing, the Production Project Managers, Engineers, Business & Performance Managers and the broader community to be able to embed the MBDA project control and planning standards.
  • Facilitate robust Risk and Opportunity management, primarily in the manufacturing domain
  • Support the growth of Project Planning/Scheduling and Control across the Production phase of projects
  • Provide Schedule and Planning process and tools expertise to users within the local area

What are we looking for?
  • Pro-active team player who can inspire others
  • Experience in planning and industry standard planning techniques
  • Experience in successful planning of complex technical Projects, particularly in manufacturing environment.
  • Practical knowledge and understanding ofenterprise business management tools and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to analyse performance data and define root variance causes and impacts
  • Aptitude to develop good working relationships with team members within the Function and Project Team
  • Demonstrable communication skills to all levels, capable of working in an integrated multi-functional team
