We are looking for a number of active and capable individuals to join the Hebrides Engineering team. Primarily based at QinetiQ MoD Hebrides Range, and acting as part of a business wide capability team, you will be working in a world class Testing and Trials Evaluation environment, providing engineering and systems support to the Range instrumentation systems.

As part of the role you’ll be instrumental in providing engineering and systems administration support to enable the conduct of Test, Evaluation and Training missions. This will involve the maintenance, repair and operation, of a broad range of equipment, which will be underpinned by your qualification and practical working knowledge within this field of expertise.


We are interested in hearing from candidates with experience in any of the following:

• Site Communications and Information Systems
• Ground Radio and Air Traffic Management systems
• Instrumentation and RF equipment.
• Network infrastructure (Ideally experience of CISCO or CCNA qualified)

Overall we are looking for outstanding proactive technical people - creative and analytical thinkers who are able to make a positive impact within our Engineering team. We are open to offering support and training to individuals with relevant Electronic / Engineering qualifications, looking to further their career. It is important that you have a full UK Driving licence.

In the support of equipment and trials there will be occasions of overtime/extended hours and weekend working.
