About the role:
L3Harris in Bracknell are expanding the European Solutions Delivery Team and are seeking a Software Consultant to join them. You’ll be working with our industry leading image analysis software, ENVI, to make customised tools for our customers with an emphasis on web-based solutions. Customers range in size from blue chip to start-up and from domain experts to end-users. We help them get the answers they need from remote sensed data through our enterprise and desktop-based applications. The role requires the ability to deliver high class software alongside offering a consultative, customer facing approach. To succeed you will be a confident software programmer, ideally in the web application domain, with a scientific mindset and due to the large amount of interaction with customers and users, it’s essential to be able to communicate professionally.

Experience & Skills:
- Qualified in Natural/Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with imagery analysis
- Experience with scoping and planning software development projects
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with L3Harris Geospatial products (ENVI, IDL) and GIS applications (e.g. ESRI) is a plus
