Engineer - Combat Systems (Command & Control)
We currently have a vacancy for an Engineer - Combat Systems (Command & Control) at our sites in either Frimley or Broad Oak.
As an Engineer - Combat Systems (Command & Control), you will be working within the Command and Control team - responsible for equipment that complies the tactical picture and interfaces to Weapons.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within 3 different exciting and complex defence programmes on a variety of classes. You will get to see engineering from many different perspectives and stages of the lifecycle.
Your main responsibilities as an Engineer - Combat Systems (Command & Control) will involve:
Working day to day with discreet tasks, learning from the Lead Engineers
Managing interfaces and control documents
Engineering Design work for the Command System or Weapon Interface Equipment
Reviewing and compiling technical design documentation
Management of requirements
Evidencing the acceptance of requirements
Your skills and qualifications as an Engineer - Combat Systems (Command & Control):
Systems Engineering experience
Experience of developing / managing requirements
Degree or relevant working experience
DOORS experience would be an advantage
Microsoft Office Packages
