The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity in a fast moving, unique, multi-national Information Management Function. Complete ownership of a complex environment of assets and responsibility for asset portfolio growth and investment.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong analytical skills, applying a methodical data driven approach.
  • Understanding of IT Service Operations processes and best practice.
  • Advanced knowledge of incident management and request fulfilment in an ITIL based environment.
  • Knowledge of LANDesk advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our business partners and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Team player, helping and supporting the wider Information Management team

The Role
  • Ensure the effective delivery of IT workplace services into Bolton and to provide a local interface for Bolton into the wider group IM function.
  • Ensure that the service transition and operations activities are managed and follow ITIL standard principles.
  • Build relationships with partners and external suppliers to optimise the service provided and play a leading role in agreeing service levels to meet business need.
  • Assist in contract management, renewals and negotiations.
  • Assist with support of wider MBDA UK as part of the UK Service Delivery team.
