T26 Sea Trials Personnel Integration Manager

Would you like to manage and deliver the co-ordination of Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP) in support of the Sea Trials Program? We currently have a vacancy for a T26 Sea Trials Personnel Integration Manager at our site in Portsmouth.

As a T26 Sea Trials Personnel Integration Manager, you will be Apply subject matter expertise in Sea Trials to ensure resilient Personnel requirements are met throughout the Sea Trials Program development and implementation.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work in a unique and high-profile position within the company and to adapt to changing situations, delivering reports and briefings on progress and issues to senior stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities as a T26 Sea Trials Personnel Integration Manager will involve:

Providing leadership and high-level decision making to ensure a robust Personnel solution ensuring the Sea Trials programme can be delivered

Plan, manage and coordinate the provision of Personnel during Sea Trials.
Coordinate and Contribute to LFE from a Personnel perspective to support the development of successful trials programme

Identify sources to meet Personnel Requirements including planning internal Personnel resource

Plan contracts for procurement of external Personnel Resource support for Sea Trials

Coordinate the attendance of Personnel on OEM Courses

Lead communication with Integrated Sea Trials Delivery Schedule with regard to Personnel provision, identifying solutions to meet requirements

Participating in the vetting and recruitment of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other personnel responsible for the definition, delivery and support of Personnel

Liaise with the Authority for the provision of RN/MoD Personnel Resource support for Sea Trials

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

Have expert knowledge and working experience of Sea Trials processes, their linkage to safety and assurance policy and their impact on the business

Understanding of UK MOD customer (organisation, process, culture, etc.) and Naval domain in particular

Have expert knowledge with the principles and practicalities of warship Personnel, equipment and support throughout the set to work and trials programme

Proven track record in managing senior internal and external stakeholders

Desirable:

Some understanding of the principles of Safety Cases & the practices of safety assurance

Be familiar with the application of Project Management, Risk Management and Commercial Management techniques to provision task specific Personnel in support of projects and have experience operating within a mature governance framework

Understands the Maritime engineering/build and support domains

Good awareness of BAES and MOD DE&S engineering and project governance processes

You will be able to proactively identify key stakeholders and their needs in order to build effective relationships, whilst trusting in these influential individuals in the training domain across the business, RN, MoD and industry.

This will allow you to Effectively interacts with and influences representatives of the Sea Trials and broader Engineering community at all levels in order to optimise the overall requirements and solutions.
