Site Programme Manager
Would you like to manage and organise the site infrastructure and services for one of our largest and key projects? We currently have a vacancy for a Site Programme Manager at our site in Glascoed.
As a Site Programme Manager, you will manage and organise site infrastructure and services for our project including the development, maintenance and delivery of legally compliant business cases pertaining to site buildings, utilities & services. Using your experience, you will provide and direct a complete Engineering Capability within Engineering Services. You will also drive supply chain for cost effective framework agreements and/or service level agreements that add value and longevity to protect the business, this would be done by working with multi-discipline teams and stakeholder (procurement being a large part).
This role will provide you with the ability to see and implement one of Land UK's largest contracts with the UK MOD. You will programme manage the end-to-end project looking at and being involved in all aspects. You will work with many different stakeholders from director to those working on the ground and will be the main point of call being accountable for the development of the site. You will manage 2 others in this role and will support and see them develop in the organisation not just in this role but identify future opportunities or niches for them.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS FOR A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT WITH VIEW TO GO PERMANENT
Your main responsibilities as a Site Programme Manager will involve:
Being accountable for the overall circa £30M Project
Using Project Management Skills and Techniques to ensure essential procedures are followed
Exercising full management authority, including: performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions
Leading a small but key team of 2
Training members of the team, monitoring their quality and contributing to pay decisions
Your skills and qualifications:
Degree level qualification or Experience gained in a comparable industry
Professional and Recognised Project Management Qualification (APM or Prince 2)
Be a LCM Assessor
Proven experience using Project Management Tools, Techniques and Practices
Proven experience managing teams both direct and indirect.
Travel to other Land UK sites as and when required.

Salary: Up to £50,900 per annum
