Field Service Representative, Support Equipment (F-35 UK)

Would you like to be part of the Support Equipment team that plays the most crucial part of maintaining field equipment for the most cutting edge and fast passed aerospace project in the world? We currently have a vacancy for a Field Service Representative, Support Equipment (F-35 UK) at our site in RAF Marham.

As a Field Service Representative, Support Equipment (F-35 UK), you will be the primary point of contact for all F-35 Support Equipment technical issues, data and logistics support for the UK Lightning Force. You will be embedded within the MOD and interfacing with Lockheed Martin and UK external companies such as DECA Sealand, Survitec etc. You will also be the problem solver who is there for any technical, data, maintenance and logistical support. This role is deployable and has the prospect to deploy with the military and possibly on the aircraft carriers as well.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to be involved with many parts of the F35 programme including ITC, The Depth Maintenance Facility, All Squadrons, Naval ships (Queen Elizabeth etc.). You will also be working on a 5th Gen Aircraft and supporting the UK military within a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment.

Your main responsibilities as a Field Service Representative, Support Equipment (F-35 UK) are as follows:

Being the primary point of contact for the UK F-35 Support Equipment (SE) technical, data and logistics issues whilst in the UK and on deployment

Coordinating with the Fort Worth based SE item Manager's, Engineering teams and SE leadership to resolve SE issues

Facilitating up-line reporting of SE status to provide a global SE picture

Liaising with site leads and engineers to ensure proper communication of ongoing issues

Providing familiarisation training to operators and engineers

Providing technical assistance to customer writing Action Requests (AR)

Facilitating receipt of hardware and data for SE deliveries

Your skills and qualifications as a Field Service Representative, Support Equipment (F-35 UK):

Essential:

Work experience of Support Equipment such as Aircraft Ground, Plant Machinery etc.

Demonstrable experience of working within an Aircraft Maintenance or Ground Engineering environment

Demonstrable experience of being the point of contact for technical issues, data and logistics support

Work experience of working within a customer facing role

Desirable:

Experience of working within a military and/or Fastjet environment

Anyone who has qualified at Trade Group 5 (RAF Qual)

An Air Engineering Department (AD) background
