ILS (RM&T) Engineer/ Senior ILS (RM&T) Engineer

Would you like to work within our Electronic Systems (ES) Business which spans the commercial and defines electronics markets with a broad portfolio of mission-critical electronic systems? We currently have a vacancy for an ILS Engineer / Senior ILS Engineer at our site in Rochester.

As an ILS Engineer / Senior ILS Engineer, you will be carrying out a range of ILS and RM& T activities on a variety of different projects.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a diverse project range where no two days are the same. This role is critical to the Business and you will have lots of autonomy.

Your main responsibilities as an ILS Engineer / Senior ILS Engineer will involve:

  • Analysing and allocating specification requirements
  • Writing specifications
  • Reliability analysis and prediction
  • Maintainability analysis and prediction
  • Planning and running maintainability/testability demonstrations - including generation of plans & reports
  • Preparation of Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR)
  • Preparation of ILS plans, analysis reports and associated documentation
  • Level of repair analysis
  • Spares and repairs modelling

Your skills and qualifications as an ILS Engineer:

An analytical mind set with previous ILS / RM & T experience is essential.

You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You will be confident with the ability to give presentations. You must be able to prioritise and be able to manage your own workload.
