ESS Senior Integration Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for an ESS Senior Integration Engineer at our site in Warton.

As an ESS Senior Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the Integration of the Eurofighter Typhoon Engineering Support System (ESS) development and clearance activities for UK and Export customers through to Entry into Service.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting new projects as well as working with avionics & IT systems.

Your main responsibilities as an ESS Senior Integration Engineer will involve:

Scoping requirements for Engineering Support System enhancements across all customers

Liaising with the Customer and Contract teams to define, mature and implement ESS design changes

Developing ESS through the engineering lifecycle utilising the Support DDP process

Holding regular engagements with key stakeholders & suppliers.

Supporting the Project Management team responsible for delivery of changes with Programme Engineering inputs

Providing Configuration Control & Management

Providing inputs to Technical Review & Design Review Packs

Providing Technical support to New Capability Bids

Supporting introduction of new versions of ESS through the Implementation/Mobilisation phases

Providing support to the Engineering and Technical Managers for the coordination of the ELC design review cycles

Performing overall Support Engineering Integration Management for packages of work in your control

Undertaking people management activities associated with supporting the management of the Service Delivery team

Your skills and qualifications as an ESS Senior Integration Engineer:

Experience of system engineering and programme management / lifecycle management

Experience with product development and producing capability, inclusive of all support elements, for delivery to customers

Ability to understand customer requirements

Possess an understanding of Industry Standards and regulations

HNC / HND or above from any Engineering / IT background or relevant experience

People management skills desirable

Project management / programme management experience and the ability to oversee system engineering projects from cradle to grave

You must have the ability to analyse and interpret data

Strong solid experience of Configuration management and engineering standards
